PROFESSIONAL

I am a Mental Performance Coach, certified as both a general NLP practitioner and sports NLP practitioner by the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I studied under one of the most pre-eminent mind performance consultants in the UK, Andy Barton.

I set up the practice in 2017, following a career spanning 25 years where I worked in both private and public sectors - the majority of which was spent within commercial sport and sports administration. During that time, I held senior management positions within major organisations such as Chelsea Football Club and the World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association.

Throughout my career, I have interacted and worked closely with individuals from all walks of life and many parts of the globe, including numerous sports professionals. I have operated up to Board level in both the UK and internationally. In all this time, one thing that has remained constant is my love of interaction with people, hence A Game Changer was born.

PERSONAL

Born in Brunei, my upbringing until the age of 20 was predominantly overseas having lived in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

Since 1995, I have been based in London excluding a three year stint in Sydney, Australia. I have a huge appetite for travel and enjoy embracing different countries, the cultures and their people.

My major passion is sport. Since a little kid I have always shown a love, understanding and aptitude for ball sports with Football, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and Golf amongst my favourites. At school I represented and achieved honours at the top level in all major sports. This was continued onto representative county league level at both Cricket and Hockey.

In my spare time I enjoy playing Tennis & Golf as well as having a keen interest in cooking, gardening, autobiographies & travel books.

N.B. Within the realms of personal coaching one of the most important (and yet sometimes one of the hardest) things for a client to feel is relaxed enough to open up and share their thoughts.

With this in mind, I thought it only appropriate to start the ball rolling. As mentioned above, I have had a huge love of sport since a kid, so here are some slightly embarrassing memories : click 'here' to see some of my early outfits and hairstyles! Enjoy.
